Inbetween Days is a story of a re-occuring dream, of been dragged down from ones bed by a shadowy figure whilst you sleep, to the fiery depths beneath, while been serenaded by seven evil dwarfs on the way down (chorus). If the Shadow man succeeds to drag you down, you shall not wake from your slumber. Lucky enough he has yet to.
I'm always in darkness, not just at night,
The shadow man keeps coming,
And stealing the light.
A slave to terror, oh the horrors I See,
Here comes the hunter of souls
And the hunted is me.
Many solemn hours, I thus spent alone,
Otherwise lost, yea otherwise prone,
Prone to attack form the destroyers of light,
When you are sleeping it's harder to fight
Caught in the wilderness,
Inbetween sleeping and dying with grace.
In the morning i'm aware of the battle that was faught,
But i've forgotten what happend nor rememeber at cos
Oh the call me a liar, a con and a thief,
oh I tell you he's been coming for my soul as I sleep.
Maybe i'm dreaming or maybe i'm wrong,
Or maybe i've been sleeping for way too long
